This is what you normally see on a Roadster speedo LCD screen. Black text and symbols on a coloured background. The colour is amber unless you have changed the LEDs backlighting the LCD screen.

How about modifying the LCD to make it look a bit more up to date? All you need is tools and balls. It should be noted (to cover me from talentless pricks) that you could kill your speedo by messing with it.
