Mod Description
These silicone pipes replace the rigid plastic pipes to and from the intercooler. They have a wide bore and smoother internal walls which allow a better flow of air.Mod Details

Cheaper than the Janspeed stainless pipes and better than the Mocal silicone pipes. If you have read the Mocal intercooler pipe review you will have seen a few problems like the silicone lay-up being a bit poor and the top hose being too short. You can forget about those problems in the Forge pipes, these are just awesome.
The main thing you need to know about the Forge hoses are:
- They are 4 ply instead of 3.
- The lay-up of each layer is even and accurate throughout.
- The lengths of the pipes are perfect.
- The inside diameters are also perfect.
By design, the lower pipe is a very tight fit over the turbo and the intercooler inlet. This is simply because if a pipe is going to pop off, it will almost certainly be the lower one. The combination of a tight fit and decent clamps mean there is little chance of coming off.I found that removing the throttle body (4x E10 bolts) allowed a better access to the intercooler side of the lower pipe. This meant I could get both hands around the new pipe making it much easier to push the pipe all the way on. Some hot water makes the silicone hose more elastic making it a bit easier to push on. Eventually it slid in place.
The upper intercooler pipe fitted with no trouble at all, no grazed knuckles or blood loss.
With all 4 Jubilee clips done up tight the job was completed. Note the Forge TIK pipe previously installed and reviewed.
No clips are supplied with these pipes.
Personally I am a fan of real Jubilee clips made by Jubilee in Maidstone. If you compare a jubilee clip with a similar copy you will notice a massive difference in quality.

Evilution Conclusion
These really are awesome compared to the other options. The 4 ply construction will have no problems dealing with the boost pushed out by even the most modified of smarts.
