Fitting Better Door Speakers

The standard 453 door speakers are quite low quality. Not shit but not good.

How about fitting high quality speakers in place instead.

The main issue is what the standard speaker looks like. It has 3 fixing points and an unusual offset. If you fitted replacement speakers and bodged the speaker mounts, they’d sit so far back, they would touch the window when it was rolled down. This would cause something expensive to break.

What we need is a suitable way to fix them in position. Something easy. That’s what we will see here.
