The Awkward Left Side

If you have ever had to change the side light bulb on the left side of a Roadster, you’ll know it’s an infuriating task and a very poorly designed access by smart. Your previous options were long nosed pliers, trying to reach in from underneath with the underytray lowered or removing the front panels. Luckily, it wasn’t too hard to modify.

Below is what you get from the factory, the white windscreen washer bottle, a metal mounting plate, a small gap and then the plastic panels. Well, it’s the small gap between the metal plate and the panels which is where you need to get your hand. Unless you are Jeremy Beadle, this just isn’t going to happen.
