As is the case in most cheap these days, everything is done as cheap as possible. The smart wheel bolts are no exception. They cost just enough to do their job but that’s all.The protective coating on them lasts a while before the salt and grit causes the bolts to rust.

As you can see from the close up, rusty, corroded and really letting the visuals down.

Take a minute to pop a cap over each of the bolt heads and they look much better.

And in comparison they look far more finished with the caps fitted.

You may have seen these for sale ranging between £12 and £20 plus delivery. That’s a touch on the pricey side if you ask me considering what they are.
