Auto Button Repair

Mod Description
The part that pushes the switch that activates the automatic function is quite fagile and can break under use or if you attempt to remove the gearknob whilst pressing the button. The repair is fairly easy.

Rick sent me an email asking if I had information on fixing the auto button.
I didn’t have such info so I got mine, broke it and repaired it for the site.
Remove the gear knob by pulling it directly upward.
Do NOT push the button as you pull the knob, you can break it even more.

You have to lever the button out using a very thin watch screwdriver.
You will see that the clips are off centre, careful not to damage anything.
